IRIDITE NCP

We use Iridite NCP which is a non-chromium passivate for aluminium and has become and safer and popular finish within the industry. Iridite NCP has been made to replace chromate coatings. The benefits are that its a good base for paint, electronically conductive and is a cost effective corrision resistance to use.

SURTEC 650

Surtec 650 is also a replacement for traditional chromate coatings. It is a trivalent chromium passivation solution for aluminium. With Surtec 650 a benefit you do get a visible finish as well as its a good base for paint, electronically conductive and is a cost effective corrosion resistance to use.

CHEMICAL BLACK

Black Oxide Coating Chemical Blacking as it is also known is a chemical conversion coating. The coating is applied to the surface of the steel Black Oxide Coating is the result of a chemical reaction between the ferrous metal and the oxidizing salts used in the black oxide solution.

The Benefits of Chemical Blacking are:

• It has a negligible effect on the dimensional tolerances of the parts.

• Good for screw threads, bearing fits, threaded holes or just internal machine parts

• Offers a relatively good corrosion resistance which is enhanced by the post treatment layer of dewatering oil that we apply
